New/Old Kids on the Block

Friday’s confession …

OK, I admit it, I DVR’d The Today Show this morning ‘cause I just had to see the New Kids on the Block reunion. No, I’m not necessarily a fan, but curiosity was killing me. At the risk of dating myself, I’m from the 80’s era and I still cannot believe the amount of people that took over Rockefeller Plaza in New York to see them perform.

Wow. They actually pulled it off.

What’s next? Are we going to bring back thick leg warmers and re-release The Breakfast Club?

You gotta love it...

Winks & Smiles,
Wifey

OMG! I can't believe I missed that. I was so into them, lol. I even "met" Jordan Knight in Miller Outpost once. I say "met", he actually smiled at me and I was scared stiff so I turned around and walked out of the store. Can you believe that?

I went to see Rick Springfield (talk about dating myself) a few years back, and was amazed at how old he looked...then I remembered how I looked a whole lot older in my 30's than I did when I was 13!

Oh my gosh.... I was head over heels in LOVE with NKOTB back in the day. Like terribly so. It's almost weird to admit that. ;)

Too funny! They didn't sound that good this morning, but they looked better than I thought they would.

I did not know they were having a reunion! I was a fan...I was 16...Jon was my fave. I actually went down NKOTB memory lane last week when someone's blog was playing their Happy Birthday version. LOL. I'll confess, I listened twice. Bet you didn't know I was such a dweeb now did you?

Yeah I can't believe they're all even still alive, for some reason-- it's been so long. The world is a weird place sometimes.

Did they sing too?

Yes, they sang. Didn't sound as good as they looked, but I don't think the crowd really cared - smiles!
