Sexperiment for MARRIED Couples – Warning Requires Sex - Gasp!

It’s Hump Day at Wifey’s House, the one day a week I dish about sex. In case you missed it, here’s a clip from CBS News about Reverend Ed Young’s “sexperiment.”

It reminds me of a shortened and more obtainable version of this.

Over the past week I’ve seen several interviews and media coverage that has either praised him for suggesting such a thing or has condemned him for suggesting such a thing. Gasp! It’s amazing the controversy that sex can stir – especially sex encouraged to strengthen MARRIED couples’ relationships. I did hear him correctly; he is only talking to MARRIED couples, right?

Thoughts? Opinions? Participants? Inquiring and MARRIED minds want to know…

Winks & Smiles,
Wifey

I'm convinced it was the husbands in the church who probably put the pastor up to that--LOL!!! I mean, I'm all for connecting and all... but seven days in a row? No ma'am. Uh uh. Nope. Not happening--church sermon or no. LOL!

I read an article about a woman who gave her husband a great gift on his 40th birthday - 365 days of sex. Of course sick days days and few other days were taken out, but they managed to connect at least three weeks out of every month. She said that they grew closer than during this and her husband was happier than she ever saw him. A year of sex may be unattainable for most couples, but I think that Rev. Young's challenge is reasonable. So many other things cause married couples to ignore the intimate aspects of their relationship. What a great way to reconnect and rebuild the intimate bond.

Great comments.

Denene, it's probably not a coincidence that the preacher is a man, ahem! Smiles.

Mocha Dad, the 365 day couple wrote a book, too. And, sure, the 7 day thing should be "doable" no pun intended, what does Mrs. Mocha Dad think? Smiles.

Lite }{, It will be interesting to get a baby count 9 months from now.

I love the "wanting the congregation to grow" comment!

I'm all in favor here. It's so easy to lose sight of what a wife's biblical role is in marriage - I know I get sidetracked all the time.
